Personal Background

I was born and raised in the Calgary area and have been a resident here for most of my ‘Canadian’ life.  In 2001, my wife Alexandra and I took our love of travelling and experiencing other cultures with us as we put our passion for education to work in international schools in Peru, Turkey and Russia!  Upon our return to Calgary, I have integrated my focus on helping people with a long time passion for the Calgary real estate market to further my pursuit of real estate excellence.  My wife has continued her career in education as she works to further improve the level of education in Calgary’s public school system.   When we are not enjoying time with our extended family and friends with backyard barbeques and other social events, you will find us enjoying the many cultural and sporting events and activities that Calgary has to offer.  We also take every opportunity we get to explore the many varied cultures of the world and plan to continue doing so for many years to come.

Professional Background

As a recent graduate from a government run Real Estate Associates Program that has recently been made more thorough and stringent, I believe I am fully prepared to protect and serve you at a very high level.  As an educator I have developed an important set of business tools including effective communication skills and a zeal for systematic organization.  As a many time property owner who has experience with the purchase and sale of my own properties, and a number of investment properties, I can use these positive outcomes to make your experience with me an efficient and trouble free one.  As knowledge of the local, federal and global economy is one of the keys to understanding current and future trends in the Calgary real estate market I put my enthusiasm for lifelong learning to work, as I stay current and well informed on these matters.  My affiliation with Steve and the rest of the CIR Realty team of mortgage brokers, home stagers, home inspectors, lawyers and additional industry professionals, will further support you at the high level of performance that you expect and deserve.

Personal Background

I grew up in Medicine Hat and moved to Calgary in 2000 to attend the University of Calgary. I quickly fell in love with Calgary and naturally made it my new home. Upon my graduation in 2004, I travelled to Thailand to teach English – an experience I still cherish dearly. On my time off, I love travelling to new places, snowboarding in the winter, camping in the summer, and getting together with family and friends.

Professional Background

I graduated from the University of Calgary in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. After taking a year off to travel, I started my career at Homes by Avi. I spent most of my 6 years there in sales and marketing and so, my passion for real estate began. Following my years at Homes by Avi, I worked at Brookfield Residential where I had an excellent opportunity to develop my marketing skills while getting to know the development side of the industry. By 2014, I was needing a change and after year of friends and family encouraging me to go into real estate on my own, I was finally ready. After only three months working as a Realtor’s Assistant, I knew without a doubt that real estate is where I wanted to be. I finished my real estate course in spring of 2014, and eagerly started my career as a REALTOR with CIR. I can honestly say that it is one of the best decisions I have ever made as I truly love my job as there is nothing more rewarding than handing over keys to excited new homeowners.

Personal Background

I am a wife and have a 14 month old son named Kieran.  Being a mom is truly a wonderful role!  My son has taught me to understand what really is important in life and he’s helped me better my organization and time management skills.  Other than the busy mom duties I entail having a toddler, I also enjoy reading a good book, water sports in the summer months and skiing in the wintertime. 

Professional Background

Before becoming a REALTOR®, I worked for a major oil company in Calgary as a Marketing Manager for several years.  This was an excellent opportunity to develop my marketing skills, put my business and sociology degrees to good use and grow professionally from student to career person.   Overtime, I developed an interest in real estate when the market in Calgary boomed in 2006.  I also discovered I sincerely enjoyed helping others and realized I lacked this customer touch point in my career.  I left oil and gas in 2010, immediately fulfilled my educational and licensing requirements to become a REALTOR® and started my career in Real estate with Calgary Independent Realtor (CIR) shortly thereafter.

My goal as your REALTOR® is to work for YOU.  This means having a perfect understanding of your needs, what makes you really happy, and what you’d rather avoid.  It means working on YOUR schedule, and not pressuring you into making a decision.  I believe your real estate experience should be stress-free, affordable, and fun too.  YOU deserve an outstanding customer service experience, and I would be honored to represent YOU in your real estate decisions.
Other than working full time as a REALTOR® I actively volunteer for the Killarney-Glengarry Community Association and am the Babysitting Coordinator for the community.
